Today I want to share 3 powerful mindset techniques for weight loss. As a long-time life coach, I know that with any goal or anything you want to achieve in any area of life, if you’re mindset does not support you, it will always be a real struggle.
So that’s where we’re going today. I want you to build a strong mindset that will support you whilst you’re on your weight loss journey.
1. Affirmations
Affirmations are positive, usually, present tense statements. These statements affirm either what we want to attract or affirm what we want as if we already have it.
Here’s a super simple affirmation…
I am slim and healthy – If you’re reading this blog post then this will probably be something you want to attract.
Your affirmation could be – I focus now on daily exercise. This is an affirmation that will support you as you build a new habit.
With affirmations, you are retraining your subconscious mind, sending a NEW MESSAGE about who you are now.
I encourage you to fill your mind daily with positive affirmations that will support you on your weight loss journey.

I created a longer version AFFIRMATIONS FOR WEIGHT LOSS where I explain the meaning behind each affirmation. I find this really helps to make the affirmation more powerful.
EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques
EFT is so incredibly powerful and you can use it yourself without any special training. You tap on Meridian Points to improve the energy flow in your body.
We can effectively use this technique to release limiting beliefs, and low emotions to help you feel great.
Here’s a great EFT for weight loss blog post. I encourage you to do some EFT daily, especially when you’re using it for weight loss. Try to build it into your daily routine.

Visualize
I love guided visualizations. They’re incredibly powerful. You can visualize yourself as if you are already at your ideal weight.
Take in what you look like, what you are wearing, and how your clothes fit you. How does your skin look…?
The more time you spend visualizing yourself as this slim, healthy, and happy person, the easier it is for the law of attraction to help you achieve this in your reality.
Your subconscious mind accepts this as your true self and helps you to move into that picture for real.
You can find a huge amount of guided visualizations for weight loss by doing a YouTube search.

Mindset techniques for weight loss – Make it a daily habit
I really hope you’ve found these 3 mindset techniques for weight loss helpful. I encourage you to do something every single day to help improve your mindset.
A little law of attraction tips to finish this post off. Whilst I use the words weight loss in this post, I encourage you to focus on your ideal weight, healthy living, being slim and healthy… rather than losing weight.
When you focus on weight loss or losing weight, the message you send to the universe is “I want WEIGHT” – Our words are so powerful.
