I’ve created this Simple Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT tapping script to help you eat your food slower which is believed to have health benefits and you can use it with my Eat Slower For Weight Loss Success Challenge.
This is a perfect script for daily tapping to help you build the habit of eating slowly. The EFT will help to release resistance, release emotional blocks and help you to accept this new behaviour.
I’ve included row EFT rounds in this session. I recommend that you do the first round several times to really release resistance and any blocks to eating slowly.
Then move onto your positive EFT round. This second round is the one that I’d recommend focusing on daily to build this habit.
EFT Script For Eating Slowly
Set-up (tapping the side of the hand) – Even though I normally eat fast and hurry at mealtimes, I am now open to slowing down when I eat. I now choose to be a slow eater to feel healthy and aid my weight loss.
- Top of the head – I release all resistance to eating slower
- Forehead – I release any blocks to eating slower
- Eyebrow – I accept this new behaviour as normal now
- Side of the eye – I am open to positive changes
- Under the eye – I release resistance to being a slow and mindful eater
- Under the nose – I release blocks to being a slow and mindful eater
- Under the mouth – It’s safe for me to make these changes to the way I eat
- Collarbone – It’s safe for me to be a slow eater
- Under the arm – I release all resistance to slow eating
- Top of the head – I choose to slow down as I eat
- Forehead – I choose to pay attention to my body
- Eyebrow – I choose to be mindful as I eat
- Side of the eye – I am comfortable being a slow eater
- Under the eye – I enjoy taking the time to really enjoy my food
- Under the nose – My body responds really well when I slow down eating
- Under the mouth – I enjoy my food as I eat slower
- Collarbone – Eating slowly helps me to lose weight
- Under the arm – Eating slowly really helps me to be healthy
I am a slow and mindful eater
In this EFT session, I want you to focus just on one affirmation. The affirmation… I am a slow and mindful eater.
Remember that EFT tapping will help to release resistance to affirmations being true for you and help build a new belief about the person that you are.
- Side of the hand – I am a slow and mindful eater
- Top of the head – I am a slow and mindful eater
- Forehead – I am a slow and mindful eater
- Eyebrow – I am a slow and mindful eater
- Side of the eye – I am a slow and mindful eater
- Under the eye – I am a slow and mindful eater
