When it comes to using Emotional Freedom Techniques for weight loss, I highly recommend daily EFT tapping.
Today I’ve put together 7 daily EFT for weight loss scripts. Each day I encourage you to complete at least 5 rounds of EFT using the script for that day.

Emotional Freedom Techniques and Weight Loss
For those of you who have some experience with using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) you will know that with many issues, we do just one EFT session which would be made up of several rounds and the issue is released/cleared.
It really is amazing. But… Yes, there’s a big but here. When it comes to using EFT to help with losing weight, it works differently.
When you’re on your weight loss journey, I encourage you to make EFT tapping a daily part of your life. Think of it in the same way as brushing your teeth.
It’s something you need to keep doing to keep clearing any energy blocks and keep you feeling positive.
I like to think of it as strengthening my self-control. When I make sure that I am doing some EFT daily then I feel stronger and more able to resist foods that won’t help me to lose weight and I am more likely to exercise and stick to a healthy lifestyle.
EFT works on the energy system and I like to imagine that when I tap, I create a supercharged little army running around inside me to help me achieve my ideal weight and help me to make healthy choices.

Okay, for those of you who are new to EFT, let me run through some of the basics. It’s easy and you don’t need any special training.
It will be really helpful for you to have a read of EFT How to tap and also, check out my EFT Videos on YouTube.
The EFT Tapping points I am going to use are as follows… (please note that I use different tapping points depending on what I’m tapping for. It’s just a personal preference).
SET UP – Tapping the side of the hand
- Top of the head
- Eyebrow
- Side of the hand
- Under the eye
- Below the nose
- Under the mouth
- Collarbone
- Under the arm
- Side of the thumb
- Index finger (side)
- Middle finger (side)
- Ring finger (side)
- Side of the hand including little finger (I use all fingers to tap on this area)
Daily EFT tapping for weight loss
I recommend that you plan your EFT session early in the day. A good time to do it is first thing in the morning, perhaps as part of your bathroom routine. You’ll know the best time for you.
For me, it’s when I’ve got my normal morning routine done, walked the dog, fed the cat, done any housework jobs that need doing, and had my breakfast.
The house is calm and I spend 10 minutes focusing on my daily EFT before I start my business work for the day. The key is to try and plan it into your day for (at least) the next 7-days.
I recommend that you allow yourself a good 10-minutes. You can, of course, spend less time tapping but for the next 7-days try your best to tap for a minimum of 10-minutes daily.
I also recommend that you do quick booster sessions throughout the day to really give yourself a positive mindset boost.
An example of my EFT tapping for the day looks something like this… I spend 10-15 minutes on the daily EFT session early in the day.
Then around lunchtime, I do 2-3 more rounds, then again before my evening meal, and finally a few more rounds in the evening.
Finishing off the day with a hypnosis download
I’m also, for the next 7 days going to finish the day off with a hypnosis download. I’ll pop it on as I’m going to sleep.

You can never fill your mind with too much good stuff
My approach to this is to definitely throw all the good stuff in to fill your mind with positive thoughts, beliefs, and feelings…
Therefore along with the daily EFT scripts, I also throw in affirmations making EFT and Affirmations power combos as well as the hypnosis at bedtime.
All of these techniques are powerful alone but throw them all in together and wow, you’re giving yourself a superpower boost to give yourself a powerful mindset for weight loss.
A couple of quick tips – Drink water before and after tapping to aid the energy flow and it’s a great idea to stand up and move around whilst doing this kind of tapping.
Ready? Let’s get started.
Day 1 – Weight loss is easy for me now
I chose this affirmation statement for day 1 because so many of us have such deep-rooted beliefs that losing weight is hard. We’re also likely to hear this from other people either in our personal life or on tv, in magazines… So, this is a belief I want to tackle straight away.
Set up tapping the side of the hand: Even though I’ve bought into the belief that losing weight is hard, I now choose to let that belief go, soften and flow, soften and flow. Repeat this 3 times.
- Top of the head – Releasing old and limiting beliefs
- Eyebrow – Weight loss is easy for me now
- Side of the hand – I now let go of any old beliefs that no longer serve me well
- Under the eye – Every day weight loss gets easier for me
- Below the nose – I now release any resistance to losing weight
- Under the mouth – Losing weight is easy for me now
- Collarbone – Letting go of any emotional blocks to weight loss
- Under the arm – It’s easy for me now to return to a healthy weight
- Side of the thumb – Weight loss is easy
- Index finger (side) – Weight loss is easy
- Middle finger (side) – Weight loss is easy
- Ring finger (side) – Weight loss is easy
- Side of the hand including little finger (I use all fingers to tap on this area) – Weight loss is easy for me now
Take a nice deep breath, smile and repeat.
Day 2 – I’m making healthy choices for myself now
A big part of achieving your ideal weight is to make healthier choices that lead to healthy weight loss and long-term better health. I strongly believe that it’s the small daily choices that we make that will have the biggest impact on our ongoing weight loss and health.
Set up: Even though in the past I have not made healthy choices for myself. I now choose to let go of those old habits and consistently build new positive and healthy habits. Repeat 3 times.
- Top of the head – I let go of old unhealthy habits now
- Eyebrow – I’m making healthy choices for myself now
- Side of the hand – I release the need to make unhealthy choices
- Under the eye – I’m making healthy choices for myself now
- Below the nose – I let go of old unhealthy habits
- Under the mouth – I’m making healthy choices for myself now
- Collarbone – I clear any resistance to making healthy choices
- Under the arm – I’m making healthy choices now
- Side of the thumb – I’m making healthy choices now
- Index finger (side) – I’m making healthy choices now
- Middle finger (side) – I’m making healthy choices now
- Ring finger (side) – I’m making healthy choices now
- Side of the hand including little finger (I use all fingers to tap on this area) – I’m making healthy choices now
Take a nice deep breath, smile and repeat.
Day 3 – The food I eat gives me energy and nourishes my body
I think it’s really important for you to listen to your body and work out if the food you eat gives you energy and nourishes your body or if it drains your energy and adds to weight gain. I don’t like to BAN any food. Instead, I encourage you to really pay attention to how your body feels after eating certain food.
Set up: I am now paying attention to my body and noticing how my body feels after eating. I am now choosing to eat food that gives me energy and nourished my body. Repeat 3 times
- Top of the head – I pay attention to how my body feels after eating
- Eyebrow – I choose food that gives me energy
- Side of the hand – I choose food that nourishes my body
- Under the eye – I pay attention to how my body feels after eating
- Below the nose – I choose food that gives me energy
- Under the mouth – I choose food that nourishes my body
- Collarbone – I pay attention to how my body feels after eating
- Under the arm – I choose food that gives me energy and nourishes my body
- Side of the thumb – Food gives me energy and nourishes my body
- Index finger (side) – Food gives me energy and nourishes my body
- Middle finger (side) – Food gives me energy and nourishes my body
- Ring finger (side) – Food gives me energy and nourishes my body

Drink some water, smile and repeat.
Day 4 – I take the time to really enjoy my food and eat mindfully
Many of us who have struggled with weight for many years develop a really negative relationship with food and see food as bad or think we need to deprive ourselves. I encourage you to work on building a positive attitude toward food. Enjoy finding healthy meals that you really enjoy.
Also, for me personally, over many years I developed a habit of eating my meals really quickly and eating on autopilot. I know this is something many of you do and it’s a habit that needs replacing. I encourage you to take your time eating, enjoy what you eat and focus on eating mindfully.
Set up: I now focus on taking the time to really enjoy my food and eat mindfully (repeat 3 times).
- Top of the head – I release old eating habits that no longer serve me well
- Eyebrow – I enjoy my food
- Side of the hand – I take my time to eat my food
- Under the eye – I think about where my food has come from
- Below the nose – I pay attention to the colours and the smells
- Under the mouth – I enjoy preparing healthy meals to enjoy
- Collarbone – I release old habits that no longer serve me well
- Under the arm – I enjoy my food
- Side of the thumb – I take my time to eat my food
- Index finger (side) – I eat mindfully
- Middle finger (side) – I enjoy eating healthy food
- Ring finger (side) – I eat mindfully
- Side of the hand including little finger (I use all fingers to tap on this area) – I enjoy the food I eat and eat mindfully
Take a nice deep breath, smile and repeat.
Day 5 – I’m slim, healthy and strong
This is one of my favourite affirmations. On its own, it’s a powerful statement but combined with EFT it’s incredible. The word strong resonates with me but feel free to change it to a word that works better for you, such as well, vibrant, happy…
I want you to go really slow with today’s tapping. I’m going to say just 1 word at each point. Please hold that point for a while. Say the word, imagine yourself being slim, healthy… and take a nice relaxed deep breath in and release at each point.
Set up: I’m slim, healthy and strong (repeat this full affirmation 3 times)
- Top of the head – Slim
- Eyebrow – Healthy
- Side of the hand – Strong
- Under the eye – Slim
- Below the nose – Healthy
- Under the mouth – Strong
- Collarbone – Slim
- Under the arm – Healthy
- Side of the thumb – Strong
- Index finger (side) – Slim
- Middle finger (side) – Healthy
- Ring finger (side) – Strong
- Side of the hand including little finger (I use all fingers to tap on this area) – Slim
Keep going, following on from where you left off, so your next point is the head saying healthy.
Day 6 – I love and respect my body now and always
I believe that self-love is so important. When we’re overweight, we can say and think the most horrible things about our body.
From this moment on, I want you to start loving yourself, loving your body. I encourage you to read Learn to love yourself. This is one of the best things you can do for yourself, especially on your weight loss journey.
If you find this script difficult, please stick with it, it’s so important. If you need to simply read my words.
If this does happen, I recommend coming back to, you can this script after you have completed the 7 days of EFT. I recommend that you do some daily tapping on this for at least 30 days.
Set up: No matter what has happened in the past. No matter what I have felt about myself and my body, I choose to love and respect my body now and always. Repeat 3 times
- Top of the head – I love and respect myself
- Eyebrow – I love and respect my body
- Side of the hand – I love myself
- Under the eye – I respect myself
- Below the nose – I love my body
- Under the mouth – I respect my body
- Collarbone – I love myself
- Under the arm – I respect myself
- Side of the thumb – I love my body
- Index finger (side) – I love my body
- Middle finger (side) – I love myself
- Ring finger (side) – I love my body
- Side of the hand including little finger – I love and respect my body now and always
Take a nice deep breath, smile and repeat.
Day 7 – I love taking great care of my body and my mind – Both are amazing
I think this follows on perfectly from yesterday’s love your body script. It’s so important to take great care of yourself, your mind and your body. Both truly are amazing.
Set up: Even though in the past I haven’t always taken great care of myself, my body and my mind, I now choose to make this a top priority. Repeat 3 times.
- Top of the head – I take great care of my body
- Eyebrow – I take great care of my mind
- Side of the hand – My body is amazing
- Under the eye – My mind is amazing
- Below the nose – I take great care of my body
- Under the mouth – My body is amazing
- Collarbone – I take great care of my mind

7- day EFT weight loss scripts
Remember to tap daily. I recommend a minimum of 10 minutes but ideally, tap 3 times each day. Please do each days script at least 3 times but then if you want to add in your own positive affirmations that’s fine.
I have chosen to finish the day with a hypnosis download.
