So often we worry about scenarios and outcomes that may never happen. And sometimes we feel as though a situation is just completely out of our control. That’s life and pretty normal for most of us.
As your coach, I want to just point out to you that worrying, from a law of attraction point of view, is adding focus to what you DON’T WANT. So we want to shift that focus quickly. Use these affirmations to help focus your mind on a positive outcome.
Affirmations for a positive outcome
- Everything always works out for the best
- I’m always in the right place at the right time
- Right here, right now, all is well in my world (This is a good one to bring you into the present moment)
- I breathe positive energy into this situation
- I send love to this situation
- I focus on a positive outcome
- I am safe
- I am safe and protected
Whilst I always want to encourage you to create your own affirmations, I also love to share some affirmations that I like to use. Take whatever resonates with you and fill your mind with them whenever you need them.
A power question for a positive outcome
When you catch yourself worrying about a situation or focusing on an outcome that you don’t want, try this power question.
If I don’t want this, what do I want? What do I want this outcome to be?
For example, I’m not someone who enjoys long journeys. If I’m not careful with my thoughts, they really run wild with me and I can quickly imagine all kinds of negative scenarios.
As soon as I become aware of this, I’ll stop myself, take a few nice deep breaths to calm myself and release a bit of that panic/stress thinking. Then I’ll ask myself what I do want instead.
If I don’t want this (the make-believe panic scenario that’s been filling my head) what do I want?
My new focus: I want my journey to be safe, enjoyable, smooth, so that I arrive at the perfect time.
Create your own affirmations
From my answer to the question, “If I don’t want this, what do I want?” I can now start creating positive,
- I always arrive at the perfect time
- My journeys are safe and enjoyable
- My journey is smooth and enjoyable
- Other drivers are so respectful and drive really well…
This gives you a good idea now of how you can shift those negative thoughts/worries into a positive affirmation.
Just as a little side note as I’m talking about safe journeys. I also ask Archangel Michael to keep me safe on all of my journeys. I also ask that he keeps me protected on all journeys (even if I forget to ask on each individual journey).
Create your own affirmations for a positive outcome
When you’re wanting to create your own affirmations for a positive outcome start with any negative thoughts or worries whizzing through your head. Do the power question.
If I don’t want this, what do I want?
Get your answer and then turn it into an affirmation. If you get stuck with this, just leave me a comment below and tell me what’s going on that you’re worrying about and I’ll help you out.
The forgiveness prayer – Ho’oponopono
Many years ago, I learned about Ho’oponopono from Joe Vitale. You may recognize this name from The Secret Movie.
The official name is Ho’oponopono, but it’s a bit of a mouthful, isn’t it? I like to call it the forgiveness prayer.
I do encourage you to learn more about where Ho’oponopono came from, it really is very interesting but for now, I’m going to give you my take on how it works.
The words we say are…
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you
I’ve added an image here if you’d like to add it to your Pinterest board as a reminder. And there’s more about using Ho’oponopono with EFT.

Now, remember that this is my take on this. It’s how it sits well with me in my mind and makes sense.
I’m sorry, please forgive me. There’s something showing up for me that I don’t want in my life, so I say, I’m sorry, please forgive me for attracting this into my life.
Thank you – I try to be grateful for every situation, whether I want it or not. It’s all teaching me something.
So I say Thank you for this situation and I’m also saying Thank you for a better situation, better outcome coming my way.
I love you – I see this as saying I love you to myself, to my higher self, to the Universe and also to anyone in connection to the situation.
Now, this might feel hard to say I love you if right at this moment you are feeling very negatively about the person/people involved.
But what I want you to remember is these negative emotions will attract a negative outcome.
So we want to shift that to a super positive emotion. You don’t need to actually love that person, you’re simply sending out LOVE to the situation. It’s truly powerful.
I can’t tell you how many times this has helped me to release negative emotions and worry – It feeds the situation positive energy and time after time it’s helped to create a positive outcome.
Put your attention on a positive outcome.
I really hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post and found it helpful. The tips I’ve shared with you today are designed to help you allow a positive outcome and also to help you feel better about the situation.
Asking the Universe to support you – Dear Universe, I ask that you support me now in bringing about a positive outcome. Thank you.
As always, please take what you have read here today as a starting point. Ask if you have any questions or just share your thoughts. I always love to hear from you.
