Gratitude and the law of attraction
As a law of attraction practitioner, people often ask me what is one thing they can focus on to get the law of attraction to work better for them. My answer is to focus on gratitude. It’s the easiest thing you can do to raise your vibrations (feel more positive). Read more about THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND GRATITUDE
Have fun with this 30-day gratitude journaling exercise, and why not share it with your friends and get them to do it with you, too. Enjoy.
Tip: As well as answering the gratitude question each day, also think about why you are grateful. Rather than simply answering the questions, I encourage you to really spend some time thinking about how grateful you are.

30 Days Of Gratitude Journaling
I recommend that you continue to journal long after the 30 days. I’ve created these prompts to give you ideas to get started, but this is a daily practice I encourage for life.
Daily Gratitude Journaling
Each day, add 3 things to your gratitude journal specific to that day. Instead of putting I’m grateful for my family, I would put something specific related to that day, such as, I’m so happy and grateful that I unexpectedly got to spend time with my two sisters and my mum today. It was really nice to meet up at the cafe for a catch up. And I’m so happy that it fit in perfectly in my schedule with last minute planning.
Within that one entry, I stated that I was grateful for the family catch-up and that the timing was perfect.
Why 3 things? I encourage you to add 3 things during this 3o day exercise. Of course, you can add more, but 3 is the minimum. When people haven’t been focusing on gratitude, it can be a struggle to think of things to write about. If you know that each day, you will have to write three things in your journal, your subconscious mind gets to work to bring these things to your conscious mind so that you always have something to write about.

Create daily affirmations
Each day, as you answer your gratitude question, try creating an affirmation to go with your answer to further help you focus on gratitude.
For example, Question 14: What are you most grateful for in summer? My own answer is… I’m most grateful for sunshine warming my body, relaxing on the sun lounger with a good book and a cold drink, feeling super relaxed.
My affirmation would be… I am so grateful for summer days with the sunshine warming my body. I’m so grateful to lounge in the sun with a good book and cold drinks.
Take the time to really get that feeling of this experience, all the time knowing you are raising your vibrations.
EFT Tapping with your 30 Days of Gratitude
Each day, you could do a few rounds of EFT tapping, focusing on what you’re grateful for. If you’re new to EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques), check out my Free EFT Tapping Guide
Here’s an example.
Question 1: Which family member are you most grateful for? You could then go on to name every family member that you’re grateful for and say a different name at each of the tapping points. In the example, I’ve listed relationships rather than names, but you would add the person’s name.
- Top of the head: I’m so happy and grateful for my son
- Forehead: I’m so happy and grateful for my mum
- Eyebrow: I’m so happy and grateful for my dad
- Side of the eye: I’m so happy and grateful for my sisters
- Under the eye: I’m so happy and grateful for my brother-in-laws
- Under the nose: I’m so happy and grateful for my nieces
- Under the mouth: I’m so happy and grateful for my nephews
- Collarbone: I’m so happy and grateful for my aunties and uncles
- Side of the hand: I’m so happy and grateful for my cousins
This is one full EFT round; you can repeat as many times as you want. You can also go on to talk about why you’re grateful for each person.
You could also focus on how your family help you to feel. When I focus on family, I will often tap on “I am loved”
Remember that as you focus more and more on gratitude, you raise your vibrations and become more of a match for more things to be grateful for.
Final notes about the gratitude exercise
With this exercise, I want to help you create a daily habit that supports you to feel grateful. I truly believe that the more grateful you are, the easier it is to manifest even more to feel grateful for. Adding the positive affirmations and the EFT session is a bonus, but one I hope you’ll experiment with.
Affirmations fill your mind with positive messages that support you and shape your beliefs. EFT tapping helps to release energy blocks and raise your vibrations. They’re powerful.
Please let me know if you need ideas for affirmations and EFT Scripts.
