Today I have some tips and EFT scripts to help you stop worrying about what people think about you or say about you.
With my law of attraction practitioner hat on, I’m starting off by telling you this…
What other people think or say is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. It’s their business. You do not need to concern yourself.
Even the very best people in the world have people who think about them in a negative way.
So, moving forward, each and every time you start to worry about what people are saying about you or thinking about you. Acknowledge your thought and remind yourself “It’s none of my business.”
It’s your job to think positively about yourself. To work on raising your own vibrations.
Focus on what you think about yourself
When you feel positive about yourself, what others think about you or say about you becomes unimportant.
With that in mind, your first step is to work on feeling so great about yourself that you will not fear what people think about you or say about you.
What matters is what YOU THINK ABOUT YOU!
What matters is what you think about YOU.
What other people think about you is none of your business
I want you to focus on feeling really positive. Here are 4 ways to help with that.
Affirmations to help you feel positive about yourself
Affirmations are positive statements that help you to deliberately fill your mind with positive messages that support you.
You say them in the present tense as if they are already true (even if they’re not yet).
Some affirmations that you could use are…
- I feel really positive about myself
- I am a really great person
- I love and cherish myself
- I like myself
- I love myself
What you want to do is think about the person you want to be. What would you like people to say about you? For example, if you want people to say things like…
“She’s a really nice person” or “He’s a really interesting person. I enjoy spending time with him”
Your affirmations would be…
- I’m a really nice person
- People think I’m a really nice person
- I’m really interesting
- People love spending time with me
One of my favourite affirmations was one I learned from the amazing Louise Hay (queen of affirmations). It goes like this… I am beautiful, everybody loves me.
I say this as I walk into a room and or when I’m walking down the street. It helps me to feel more confident and enjoy the experience.
I have a habit that I’d love you to build for yourself too. Every single time I see my reflection, whether in a mirror or shop window. I say to myself “I love you” or I pay myself a compliment such as “Looking good”
All of these messages create a positive shift in the way you think about yourself. It’s incredibly powerful.
Here’s a really good blog post to read: Law of attraction to feel better about yourself
If you spot yourself thinking in a negative way about yourself or worrying about what other people are thinking or saying about you, start filling your mind with these positive affirmations.

It’s all about you – And how great you are
Try this – Make a list of all the positive things about yourself. Then moving forward, keep a journal. You can name it “My I’M AWESOME daily journal”
Every day, write down a minimum of 3 things that are positive about you. They don’t need to be huge things.
If I was writing mine today, I would add the following things…
- I drove my son to the train station
- I watered my neighbour’s plants because they are on holiday
- I took care of my own plants
Now, these things are nothing major but they are positive things I’ve done. I could also create these positive affirmations based on those things.
- I drove my son to the train station – I am a really good mum
- I watered my neighbour’s plants because they are on holiday – I’m a really good neighbour
- I took care of my own plants – I’m good at caring for my plants
My point here is that you don’t need to have done anything big or life-changing. The little, positive things you do every day are what will change your perception of yourself.
Build your self-esteem
Building your self-esteem will really help you to stop fearing and worrying about what other people think about you.
When you have good self-esteem you’ll think in a really positive way about yourself and you won’t think about what other people are saying.
Your affirmations will help with self-esteem, you can download my SELF-ESTEEM BOOSTER book and you can try out hypnosis downloads (please note this is my affiliate link below)

Release the blocks (the fear of what people think about you)
One of the best ways to release blocks, in this case, the fear of what people think about you or say about you is through EFT TAPPING (Emotional Freedom Techniques).
If you’re new to EFT, I have a full EASY EFT TAPPING GUIDE right here on the blog. It’s super easy to learn and use yourself.
Set-up whilst tapping the side of the hand (just below the little finger), say this phrase: I’m tapping today to release this fear of what people are thinking about me and saying about me. Repeat this 3 times.
