23 Super Relaxing Affirmations for Sleep

Today I want to share some affirmations for sleep with you and some tips to help with better sleep in general.

I love my sleep and I know if I don’t get enough then I’m super grumpy and my concentration levels drop drastically. So basically nobody wants to be around me and I don’t get my work done.

I love affirmations and I regularly feed sleep affirmations into my mind. Below I’ve given some sleep affirmation examples but first I want to give you a few ideas on how to effectively use these affirmations.

How to use your sleep affirmations

As you’re getting ready for bed you can start filling your mind with messages that support you in getting a good night’s sleep. Continue as you’re falling asleep.

When you wake up in the morning, I encourage you to say something along the lines of I’m so grateful for a restful night’s sleep. I feel rested and ready for a wonderful day.

I recommend that you have a bedtime routine and switch off from screen time at least half an hour before you want to go to sleep.

Affirmations for Sleep

Here are some sleep affirmation ideas. Use these and create your own specific to you.

  • Sleep is so easy for me
  • Sleep is so good for my body
  • I easily fall into a restful and healing sleep
  • I sleep well and wake feeling rested ready to really enjoy the day ahead
  • My mind is calm and I am relaxed
  • I release any stresses of the day
  • I turn any worries over to the universe
  • My body heals as I sleep
  • I sleep peacefully
  • I’m falling into a restful sleep now
  • I sleep soundly
  • I fall asleep quickly and with ease
  • My dreams are happy and peaceful
  • As I sleep the universe is working to support me in manifesting the life I have asked for (a powerful law of attraction affirmation)

Super relaxing affirmations for deep sleep

  1. I feel so relaxed
  2. With every breath I take I become more and more relaxed
  3. Every part of my body is relaxing now
  4. I relax more and more as I relax into a deep, deep sleep
  5. My eyes are heavy
  6. My mind is calm
  7. My body eases into the bed
  8. I am so grateful for deep and relaxing sleep
  9. I sleep deeply now

As you start to drift off to sleep, gently repeat the words Deep Sleep. Don’t force the words, just repeat them until you feel your body drifting into a deep sleep.

Affirmations and the law of attraction

As a law of attraction practitioner, I see affirmations as a powerful tool to help manifest the things we want.

The law of attraction responds to our thoughts and therefore I feel it is so important to deliberately put thoughts that support you in your mind.

By filling your mind with this kind of affirmation, you are telling the universe you want a really good night’s sleep and you want to wake up feeling amazing.

Hypnosis for sleep

I’ve been using hypnosis downloads for all kinds of things for years and love them. I personally find all of the downloads super helpful so even though I think downloads specifically to help with sleep are great.

I also encourage you to try other downloads that will help in other areas of your life. I’ve always found that if I pop a download on once I’m settled in bed, I nearly always fall asleep really quickly.

Sleep and a good life

I used to try and survive on around 5 hours of sleep a night and I was burnt out and not that nice to be around. I now get around 7 hours of sleep most nights.

Of course, there are nights when that’s just not possible but I know I feel so much better, healthier, more productive, nicer… when I get enough sleep. Affirmations have definitely helped me make this a healthy part of my life.
