I believe that self-love is so incredibly important. Learning how to love yourself is probably the biggest way to improve your quality of life.
Today I want to share a collection of affirmations for self-love, positive statements to help you love yourself.
If you’re new to affirmations, please take a few minutes to read my HOW TO USE AFFIRMATIONS GUIDE as this will help you to make the most out of these positive messages.
Top Tip 1- Fill your mind with your self-love affirmations throughout the day and do this consistently, it’s not a quick fix where you say them for a few days and that’s it.
Top Tip 2 – Stand in front of the mirror every single day, ideally in the morning and say I LOVE YOU, I REALLY LOVE YOU.
This may feel uncomfortable to start but keep doing it, every single day. This is a wonderful technique I learned from Louise Hay (Queen of affirmations).

If I don’t like this, what would I like about myself
If you don’t love certain aspects of yourself right now, write down anything you don’t like and then ask yourself, If I don’t want this, what do I want? or, If I don’t like this about myself, what would I like? Write your answer as a positive affirmation as if you already are that person.
EXAMPLES…
- I’m overweight
- If I don’t want this, what do I want?
- I’m slim, healthy and strong
- I don’t feel like I deserve to be happy
- If I don’t want this, what do I want?
- I deserve to be happy in all areas of my life
- I don’t feel like a nice person, I don’t like the way I behave sometimes
- If I don’t want this, what do I want?
- Every day I’m becoming a nicer person. Every day I’m learning to behave in a way I like. (This is what I call a step-up affirmation, you’re aiming for progress, not perfection)
Combine your affirmations with EFT
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques and you can combine any affirmation with it to release resistance and raise your vibrations (this allows you to believe the affirmations).

Focus on who you want to be
Ask yourself “Who do I really want to be?” – To help with this read WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE? – This will help you to get super clear about the person you want to be and use the law of attraction to become that person.
This is exactly what I did. Before becoming a Law of Attraction Practitioner, I experienced a really powerful moment when I realized that I really didn’t like myself or the way I was living my life. It wasn’t pretty but I used the tips I share with you to turn my own life around.
I can now tell you that I totally love myself and the way I live my life. I want the same for you.
Once you’re clear about the person you want to be and the way you want to live your life, create specific affirmations to support you.

Combine your self-love affirmations with EFT
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, often referred to as tapping because we gently tap on meridian points. It’s super easy to learn and use it on your own. Read my EFT GUIDE right here on the blog.
EFT and affirmations are a powerful combination. When you tap on the affirmation, you release any resistance to the affirmation being possible for you and you raise your vibrations, helping you to be more and more of a match for what you want.
