Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT tapping is a great way to improve concentration. I have to say this is an issue I can really struggle with but I’ve found a 3 step sequence of EFT scripts that works really well to improve concentration.
EFT for Concentration 3 step tapping sequence…
- Tap on stress first as stress will seriously block you from being able to concentrate
- Tap to clear any mind clutter
- Tapping for concentration
EFT – How To Tap
If you’re new to EFT, I’ve written a full EFT – HOW TO TAP GUIDE right here on the blog.
Tapping the side of the hand, say a set-up statement about why you’re tapping.
Tap gently on the following Meridian Points – Top of the head, forehead, eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, under the mouth, collarbone, under the arm, side of the hand.
Tip – Have a drink of water before you start tapping and again after you finish tapping.

Get Rid of Stress First – EFT Script
I know its tempting to go straight to the concentration script but through experience, I can tell you that taking a few more minutes to tap out stress and the clear any mind clutter will make big difference.
We’re keeping all of these scripts super simple and easy to remember.
So take a nice deep breathe in, slowly release and let’s get tapping.
- Set up – Tapping the side of the hand – I’m tapping to release any stress
- Top of the head – Stress
- Forehead – Stress
- Eyebrow – Stress
- Side of the eye – Stress
- Under the eye – Stress
- Under the nose – Stress
- Under the mouth – Stress
- Collarbone – Stress
- Under the arm – Stress
- Side of the hand – Stress
I recommend 2 rounds of stress tapping. However, if you feel particularly stressed do more.
Clear your mind – EFT script
You’ve got to get rid of the mind clutter – As well as using EFT, it’s a great idea to simply write it out. Get it out of your head and onto the paper.
- Set up – Tapping the side of the hand – I’m tapping to release any mind clutter that is distracting me
- Top of the head – Mind clutter
- Forehead – Mind clutter
- Eyebrow – Mind clutter
- Side of the eye – Mind clutter
- Under the eye – Mind clutter
- Under the nose – Mind clutter
- Under the mouth – Mind clutter
- Collarbone – Mind clutter
- Under the arm – Mind clutter
- Side of the hand – Mind clutter
I recommend 2-3 rounds of this script
EFT for Concentration Script
- Set up – Tapping the side of the hand – I’m tapping to improve my concentration
- Top of the head – Concentration
- Forehead – Concentration
- Eyebrow – Concentration
- Side of the eye – Concentration
- Under the eye – Concentration
- Under the nose – Concentration
- Under the mouth – Concentration
- Collarbone – Concentration
- Under the arm – Concentration
- Side of the hand – Concentration
If you can, I recommend 3-5 rounds as a minimum for this script. I know it seems like a lot but most people stop tapping too quickly.
If you do all three scripts as suggested, I think you’ll really find that the results make it time very well spent.
When to use concentration EFT
Mostly I recommend doing concentration EFT as and when you need it. Whilst I think tapping on this will help you long-term to be able to concentrate better, it’s not really a case of spending 30 minutes tapping for concentration and then you’ll never need to use it again for this issue.
Instead, it’s something to use when you need it. That being said, you absolutely can add it to your daily EFT session For example, you can tap every morning and include, It’s easy for me to concentrate.
