Ready for some happiness affirmations? You know we all deserve to be happy but so few of us spend time really working to make that happen.
I’m not talking about things like going on holiday or a big shopping spree that gives you a happiness burst. I’m talking about the inner work, the mindset work.
I’m a big believer in using positive affirmations to fill your mind with messages that support you in creating the life you want. And we can definitely work on improving our happiness levels by using affirmations.
I encourage you to read my How to use Affirmations guide so that you really understand how to effectively use these affirmations to make positive changes.
Also, before I get started. I’ve created a special Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT for happiness collection which includes some of the affirmations used in this article. Combining affirmations with EFT helps to release blocks and improves your energy flow. This helps you to allow more happiness.
Affirmations for Happiness
I’ve put together a collection of affirmations to help add more happy messages to your day.
- I give myself permission to be happy
- It’s okay for me to be happy
- I choose to keep my thoughts positive
- All is well in my world
- I choose to be happy
- Happiness flows through my thoughts and my life
- I choose to hold happiness in my heart and mind
- I am happy
- Every day is filled with happiness
- I welcome in happiness now
- I’m happier and happier now
- I find happiness in the smallest, everyday things
- I have real inner happiness now
- I feel happy
- I feel the happiness within me
- I radiate happy vibes
- I allow myself to be happy now
- I spread happiness wherever I go
- Happiness surrounds me
- I attract happy people into my life
- I’m so grateful for all the happiness in my life
- I totally deserve to be happy
- Being happy is natural for me
- I love myself
- I love my life
- Every day my life gets better and better
Try to come up with more affirmations to add to this list. Look for opportunities to fill your mind with happy thoughts.
Affirmations and EFT
Combining your affirmations with EFT is incredibly powerful. Also check out my Happiness EFT scripts here on the blog .
Take any or all of the happiness affirmations and just start tapping and repeating affirmations at each tapping point. This will help to release any resistance and allow them to be true for you.
Attraction Statements
Very similar to Affirmations, we can also use Attraction statements. These powerful statements are designed to really activate the law of attraction to add more happiness.
- I’m in the process of attracting more happiness into my life
- The Universe is lining everything up for me to attract more happiness into my life
- I LOVE that my life is filled with so much happiness
Again, have fun playing around and creating your own statements. This is another great way to keep filling your mind with positive messages. It’s all good stuff.

Keep a check on your thoughts
Whenever you catch yourself with negative thoughts filling your mind, swap them for a better feeling thought. If the thought is not helpful to you, simply ask yourself. If I don’t want this, what do I want?
Here’s an example. Jane is driving in a busy area and a car pulls out in front of her causing her to brake sharply. She immediately had negative thoughts running wild through her mind, causing her to feel angry, anxious, and unsafe.
It’s important for Jane to switch her thinking now. So, she asks what she wants and changes her thoughts to… I love driving, I’m a calm and happy driver, I’m surrounded by safe and thoughtful drivers, and driving is enjoyable and calm.
A final note on using happiness affirmations
I encourage you to start your day with positive affirmations every day and include some happiness affirmations.
